Teller Manager

A Teller manager is a user with permission to oversee and manage teller operations on the teller console. A user with the teller manager role can create new tellers, monitor their activities, approve transaction requests, and provide supervision to ensure efficient and secure teller operations.

On the console, the teller manager can perform the following operations:

Teller group creation

The teller manager creates the teller group, which houses tellers. Each teller group contains information such as the office of the teller, currency, accounting rules, status, start date, and end date. This information applies uniformly to all the tellers included in the respective teller group.

In organizations where multiple currencies are utilized for transactions, the teller manager can add the different supported currencies into the teller group. In addition, each of the selected currencies can be assigned to individual teller accounts within the group, allowing for seamless handling of transactions in different currencies.

Teller Management

On the console, the teller manager can view, update, and delete a teller group. To carry out this feature, click on the kebab menu button. See the highlighted section in the image below.

Transaction limits

The teller manager sets the transaction limits, which include the daily teller limit and withdrawal limit, to regulate the activities of a teller. This means that transactions that are beyond the limits set by the teller manager must be approved by the teller manager before they are processed. These transaction limits are set when adding a teller to a teller group.

Note: Each teller limit is unique to the specific teller; therefore, different tellers within the teller group can have different teller limits.

Action Trail

The action trail feature allows a teller manager to monitor and track every request history within a teller group's accounts. The teller manager has access to a comprehensive record of approved and rejected requests. Although the manager can only view a summary of the request details and cannot take any further actions on the requests.

To perform this action:

  • On the kebab menu button, select "View" from the option.
  • The action trail page will be displayed, containing the request history of a teller in the teller group.
