Savings Product Configuration: Clause For Interest Payment When Configuring A Savings Product

When creating or modifying a savings product, users can define an interest payment clause that specifies the number of withdrawals allowed for interest to be paid to a customer within an interest payment period. For example, if five (5) withdrawals are allowed on a savings account, interest will not be paid if the customer withdraws more than five (5) times.

To do this:

1. Navigate to the Products page on the console.
2. Select "Savings Product". You can create a new product to configure this setting or click on the "Edit" button on an already existing savings product to add this setting.
3. Tick the checkbox for Enable Withdrawal Count for Interest Posting and input the desired Withdrawal Limit Number.
4. Click on "Submit" to save.

This setting would ensure that the interest on a savings account is not paid when a customer exceeds the allowed number of withdrawals.
